B Lab is a non-profit network that is transforming the global economy to benefit all people, communities and the planet. Laetitia Arrighi de Casanova explained how they mobilize the global community of B Corps for collective action, tackling society’s most critical challenges, as well as collaborating with governments, universities, coalitions and other institutions to drive change in economic systems. There are currently more than 8,000 B Corps around the world, in more than 93 countries.

Flávia Nobre from the Ageas Portugal Group explained how sustainability is part of their business strategy and revealed their three long-term ambitions – to contribute to a healthy society, promote climate resilience and foster inclusion. She also shared what they do in terms of customer experience, the type of actions/initiatives to promote sustainability concerns.

A KPMG study revealed that more than two thirds (69 per cent) of CEOs worldwide have fully integrated environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) considerations into their work.

For Alberto Lançós, DHL Express Portugal is focused on sustainability, not only to boost the logistics sector, but also to help SMEs (Small and Medium-sized Enterprises). They are committed to offering more sustainable logistics solutions and recognize the importance of reducing the environmental impact of operations and helping SMEs to do the same in their business areas.
