In May 2025, Lisbon hosted the Spanish initiative ‘Dialogos para el Desarrollo’, for the first time outside of Spain. The debate forum brought together personalities to discuss current affairs, such as Paulo Portas and Miguel Monjardino. Media em Movimento moderated the panel.
Lisbon hosted the first ‘Dialogues for Development’ meeting outside of Spain. The event brought together former Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Paulo Portas and professor of geopolitics and geostrategy Miguel Monjardino.
Moderated by Mafalda Marques, partner at Media em Movimento, the speakers shared their thoughts on the new geopolitical context, the global challenges and, above all, the opportunities open to Europe and Portugal in an era of accelerated transformation.
The meeting, which travelled to all regions of Spain, was sponsored in Portugal by Crédito y Caución, Caja Rural del Sur and BCD Travel, under the title ‘A changing world: what should Europe do in the face of the new scenario?’.
Media em Movimento was the agency chosen to moderate the panel due to its strategic positioning as a Portuguese PR agency specialised in exports and internationalisation, and as a member of the Eurocom Worldwide and LatamPR global networks.
