Sumol, the Portuguese beverage brand celebrated “saudade” (as nostalgia) and the culture of the Portuguese language as the official sponsor of the IPMA Awards 2025, presented by Daniela Ruah and Ricardo Farias.

Sumol claims to be, in the United States of America, the Portuguese drink brand that embodies the heart and soul of Portugal. As such, it has renewed its sponsorship of the IPMA 2025 (International Portuguese Music Awards) for the third time, solidifying its commitment to the Portuguese-American community.

This year, Sumol brand went one step further and created a green immersive zone for guests with a video platform, animated by Luso-descendant hostesses dressed in the brand’s colors and mini flags of Portugal.

In a way of celebrating the Portugueseness that united all the artists that night, such as João Pedro Pais, Fernando Daniel, Tito Paris, Cremilda Medina, Augusto Canário, among others.

The event was featured in the American and diaspora press. The brand told how it contributes to uniting generations of Portuguese descent and how it fosters cultural pride and celebrates the heritage that resonates deeply with its Portuguese-speaking consumers on this continent.

The presence of Sumol at the IPMA Awards 2025 was featured in newspapers in Providence, Boston, Brockton, New Bedford, Fall River, Newark, on three local radio stations and on social media.
